Students who will be entering kindergarten in the fall of the 2018-19 school year, and will be 5 years old on or before August 1, 2018, will need to attend this registration and screening with their parents/guardians. All kindergarten students must be screened before they can register for Kindergarten. These screenings will be held by appointment only on Thursday and Friday at the elementary building. To schedule your child’s kindergarten screening appointment, please call the school office at 740-732-5661, between 8:00am and 3:30pm.
Parents are asked to bring their child's:
- birth certificate,
- social security card,
- immunization records,
- and proof of residency.
Also, if this applies to your student, custody papers should also be brought to registration. Copies for the child’s school file will be made and returned to you during the screening. Ohio law requires all students admitted for initial entry to school to present up-to-date written evidence that they have received or are in the process of receiving immunizations.
