SHS Marching Band

The Shenandoah High School Marching band, of 51 members once again won another award this past Saturday, September 27th at Licking Valley. They performed at 11 am and took first place in Class C.
Last Saturday, September 20th, the Marching Zeps attended a competition in Cambridge. The band performed at 4:30. The Zeps won best auxiliary in Class C and 2nd place in Class C.
The band’s show this year is Latin Jazz. The show consists of 4 songs. Overall, the Zeps have been working very hard at practices. They hope to qualify for state finals at their upcoming performances. Karyssa Ginn, a 9th grader n the band says, “I want to make state finals, it would be awesome!”
The Shenandoah Marching Band performs at every football game at halftime. Their upcoming performances are October 11th at Meadowbrook at 5 pm and October 18th at New Philadelphia. The band would appreciate community support at their competitions.
