MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT

MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT:

Welcome to another school year!  We hope you find our Noble Local website inviting and full of useful information for you and your family.

The Ohio Department of Education has designated Noble Local, Shenandoah High and Shenandoah Elementary School “Effective”!  Increasing student achievement remains our highest priority.

This year there are many new faces around our schools.  The new faces you will see at Noble Local are Cindy VanScyoc elementary principal, Maggie Yeagle , 2nd grade; Kristine Schoeppner, Jr. High English; Susan Smith, High School Family Consumer Science; Alaina Houmard, High School Math; Tracy Christ, 4th Grade; Carrie Long, Kindergarten; Jennifer Wells, 3rd Grade; Melinda Neff, Middle School Math; and Jessica Bond, Preschool.

Noble Local is committed to improvement and continues to implement the Ohio Improvement Process.  Noble Local is an Ohio Race to the Top district, a member of the Ohio Appalachian Collaborative and is participating in an Ohio Teacher Incentive Fund grant.  All those initiatives are designed to helping our students to become college or career ready.

“Children are apt to live up to what you believe in them.”

Snow Routes

The 2011-12 Snow Routes for our school bus drivers and passengers are published and accessible on our website under the Student/Parent section.

Just click on the menu at the top of this page and go down to the Snow Routes and click on it find the complete listing as well as the pick-up times. Remember that our main goal is to transport our students to and from school in the safest way possible.

Also remember if your son or daughter is not picked on a "snow route" day and you bring them to school they will need transportation home as well. If you have any questions you may call the transportation director, Justin Denius @ 740-732-2361.
