Baseball and Softball Lifting
By CJ Michel
It’s almost that time of the year again when the bats are smacking and the homeruns are flying but, the only way to get that to happen is from hard work. So get to the Hall and track to start working on those quads, pecks, and whatever else you need so you can be the star of the game this year.
The Tri-Match
With
Crooksville, Barnesville and Shenandoah
On February 6th, 2008 Shenandoah hosted a tri-match with Crooksville and Barnesville. Shenandoah went 1-1 as a team by beating Crooksville. Crooksville went 0-2 as Barnesville won against both teams. Coach Rinehart became very upset with his teams effort against the Shamrocks, feeling that they should have won with ease.
The Zeps will be heading to Sectionals on the 15th and 16th.

Results from P.V.C
On January 30, 2008 the Shenandoah Wrestling Team went to Caldwell along with River and Monroe Central for the 08’ P.V.C tournament. Shenandoah was only able to have 8 wrestlers active in this event. These wrestlers were the following: Mark Hemmerle at 112, Seth Stickley at 125, Jorge Wilkos at 130, Cody Smith 140, James Mercer 145, at 171 Nick Wells, Logan (boog) Michel 189 and finally Joe Wheeler at 215.
Caldwell ended up winning P.V.C with no problem this year. We got 3rd as a team, which is rather disappointing, but we had two wrestlers that won their P.V.C weight class: Cody Smith and Nick Wells. Mark Hemmerle didn’t have very much luck on his side losing all three of his matches. Logan also had trouble with opponents with a 0-3 record at P.V.C . Seth Stickley took a forfeit that gave him his only win of the night. Also with a record of 1-2 are Wheeler and Mercer. Jorge Wilkos pinned both of his kids in the 3rd period but lost his match against Clint Boyd by being pinned in the 2nd round.
