Christina Fanenbruck

  Christina Fanenbruck, a foreign exchange student from Germany, has to come to Ohio to learn about the language and culture of the Americas. 
 

Her hosts are Toni and Steve Keller of Senecaville.  Christina’s host sister is Kayla who is 10 years old.
 

Christina says, “I miss my family, friends, and normal life.” In Germany the schools only test four times a year. “You are encouraged to think creatively,” states Christina.  There are no sports teams at her school.
 

The biggest differences from America and Germany are the drive throughs and the dependence on cars.
 

The similar things are the television shows, singers, actors, and movies.  The electronic equipment is the same also.
 

The things that Christina likes the most about America are the hamburgers, marching band, and football. Christina says, “ I like the spirit that the school has also.”
 

Christina’s favorite experiences in America so far are Bob Evans, living by the lake, homecoming and the band competitions.
