The Noble Local School District is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide mowing and landscaping services for our properties. The objective is to maintain clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing grounds. We invite qualified service providers to submit proposals outlining their services, qualifications, and pricing.

In accordance with O.R.C. §121.22, notice is hereby given, the Board of Education of Noble Local School District will hold a special meeting at 8:00 P.M. on November 26, 2024, the Media Center at Shenandoah High School at 49349 Seneca Lake Road, Sarahsville, Ohio 43779. The purpose of the meeting is to: Approve an administrative contract for hiring an administrative assistant to the treasurer; Approve the five-year forecast; Review, discuss, and evaluate master planning, construction, and the state of the District; and Consider other matters required to be kept confidential by federal law, regulations, or state statutes. Children need healthy meals to learn. The Noble Local School District offers healthy meals each school day.

There have been some recent changes in Ohio regarding the reporting of your child’s state testing scores. Your child’s Ohio State Test (OST) spring test scores are available and can now be viewed in your Progress Book account. To find the test scores, log into Progress Book as you normally would to view your child’s grades. In the left-side column, select “Assessment Scores” and choose the appropriate drop down menu. If you have any questions about this information, please contact your child’s school building or the administration office. Have a wonderful summer!

USDA works closely with states to ensure that children who receive free or reduced-price school meals can get the nutrition they need when schools are closed for summer break. Through USDA's summer meal programs, approved sites in communities across the country serve meals and snacks to kids 18 and younger at no cost. Families can use the Summer Meals for Kids Site Finder to find directions to nearby meal sites, as well as their hours of operation and contact information.

The Affordable Connectivity Program is an FCC benefit program that helps ensure that households can afford the broadband they need for work, school, healthcare and more.

Student safety is of the highest importance. School districts go to great lengths to use the safest buses, hire the safest drivers and provide comprehensive training to make the school bus transportation as safe as possible.

Noble Local School District today announced its 2022-2023 program year policy Free and Reduced Meal for students unable to pay the full price of meals or milk served under the National School Lunch and School Breakfast, After School Care Snack or Special Milk Programs. Each school office and the central office has a copy of the policy, which may be reviewed by any interested party.

Spectrum was awarded funding through the Rural Digital Opportunity Fund (RDOF) to expand its broadband footprint to designated homes and small businesses throughout Noble County.

The Ohio Department of Health having released on October 25, 2021, its recommendation called “Mask to Play/Test to Play”. This policy intends to adopt and clarify those recommendations as local policy.
